Well well well. It's been a week or two.
But here I am..... 30lbs lighter from the start date!! It's super crazy! So that is 30lbs down since May 8th, I think that was my start date, not at home so I can't check my calendar. Wow almost a pound a day!!! LOVE IT!
The first two weeks of the high protein whole foods was great. I ate breakfast everyday, which was a first for me. I only ate "out" once, which was a Subway, and I had a salad. Throughout the two weeks, I felt like I got more full faster, and by the end of the first week, I couldn't finish my lunches or dinners. Also I felt like all I was doing was eating, since having smaller meals and snacks between.
By the end of the two weeks I was feeling great. Then the next two weeks started the clear liquid diet. This consist of at least three protein shakes a day, water, sugar free jello, broth, and then all the sugar free juice that you can mostly see through.
I thought this was going to be hard, thinking this was going to be it, I was going call the bullshit of my surgeon and give him the bird. But it hasn't been bad at all for me. There was on off day, and I think it was because I started work at 6:00 AM and I am not use to being up that early, and for that long in a day. On that day I was HUNGRY I had pounded two protein shakes in an hour and a half, had broth, and more than a cup of jello in one hour, but I was still feeling hungry. I fought it, I wasn't going to let my mind and my stomach win.
Now I have four more days until I start another week of high protein whole food. And I am SO excited. During this week, I am still having at least three protein shakes a day, along with high protein snacks between meals.
I have a goal, by July 1st I want to be down another 30lbs. I think this next 30lbs is going to be tuff, but I am going to start adding excise to the mix, so I hope that will help! And thank you for everyone that has been so supportive. I know some people aren't on board with me, but it's something I am now dedicated to, and I believe it is the best option for me.
This is just a quick update, but I am going to force myself onto a computer at least twice a week, to get a new blog out. For I am getting more and more excited about getting healthy and coming down in weight.
Way to stay motivated, and way to take care of you! Proud of your choices and impressed by your will power!
